10th Topic
When I go abroad next year, I would like to bring a souvenir for my host family and my new friends I make there. I would like to bring some picture postcards of famous places, such as the view of Mt. Fuji and famous temples or castles, like Kinkakuji, Kiyomizudera, Himeji-jyo, etc...I would like to show them the beautiful temples and views you can enjoy in Japan. I would also like to bring Momiji-manjyu, Tokyo banana, Goma-tamago,Kobe pudding, Shiroi Koibito, and Shikwaaasaa, etc...

Favorite Shop
There is a bakery called ブランジェ near my house. It's about 15minutes away by walk. This place is very popular and reason is because everything in it is 100yen!!!! Any kinds of bread, sandwiches, salad, sponge cake, puddings, etc...EVERYTHING is 100yen!! It's not just cheap but very very delicious!!!!!!!! I really recommend this place. I think theres some in other places so you should all go and try some day:)

Using my 5 senses♪
I have taken trips (or vacation) to many places with my family. The place I enjoyed and liked the most were the places I visited in the Caribbean: Puerto Rico, Cuba, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Cayman, etc..
These places were similar in many ways.
First, the weather there is really nice. Most of the time it's humid but when you go down to the beach, you can feel this nice breeze that makes you relax:)
Secondly, when you are walking down the street, the most common language you will hear is Spanish. My brother and I were learning spanish in school, so we would translate stuff to our parents or greet the people we meet there in Spanish.
Thirdly, the foods you eat there are slight different from the foods in the states. I like how they have hot spices and looks really healthy. Most of the plates had beans in them. For desert, we would get fresh fruits or juice. I really like the foods there.
Fourthly, what the first thing I realized when we got off at the airport in those countries, was the smell of the ocean and the tropical fruits, like coconuts. I really like the smell of the air there. It seems really clean.
Lastly, I realized there were no tall buildings. When you look around, the tallest thing you could see are the palm trees. It's really nice to look at the tropical flowers and how you are surrounded by nature.

《My Hometown》
I'm not really sure what the exact meaning of a hometown is. I personaly think its where one was born and grew up. I also think it could be a place you can call home, like where ones close relatives live. For me, I was born in the states but I have relatives living in Japan so I guess I could call both my hometown (or country).
Where I lived in the states was a southern part of New Jersey, near the George Washington bridge that leads to New York. It was a really nice place surrounded by nature. Sometimes we would go to New York, out in the city, and I would look out the window of our car and watch many kinds of people rush by.
One thing I really like about my hometown is that we are really close with the neighbors and are really friendly to each other. We know each other well and spend time together a lot. In the spring, we would celebrate Easter holiday with them. While the adults sit around and talk, the kids would decorate an egg shell or find hidden eggs. In the summer, we would play with the sprinklers in our yard. Then we would have BBQ with the neighbors. When fall comes, theres a holiday or more like an event that all the kids look forward to. That is Halloween. Everyone gets dressed up in their favorite costumes and goes Trick-or-Treating around the neighborhood. After going around, we would get together and see who got the most treats and trade the ones we like. In the winter, it would snow more than 10 inches so we would have snow fights and build big snowmans.
I really liked the environment in the states and miss it a lot. Although I'm not a kid any more and won't be able to do the things I did back when I was little, I would still like to go back. Maybe I will go in the near future :)

My future..
Whenever some one had asked me what I wanted to do or work for in the future, I had always replied that I wanted to become a flight attendant. Becoming a fligh attendant was my dream since I was in elementary school. That is one of the reason why I want to improve my english skills. I am also learning spanish as my second language and just started learning korean on my own. (I thought it would be better to be able to speak more than two languages=D)
If I ever do become a flight attendant, I would like to work at either in Emirates, Singapore, or Thai Airline. I like to travel so I would like to visit different places as a flight attendant.

Thank you teachers:D
As I wrote in my profile, I have been transferring schools many times and have met so many teachers with different characteristics. Each one of them had helped me through difficult times and they have influenced me in many ways.
When I first came to Japan in elementary school, I wasn't used to the Japanese culture yet and had trouble fitting in. My teacher at that time said to me, "It's ok. You will soon get used to the new environment. Don't worry." I thought to myself then, "Its easy for her to say that because she doesn't understand how much effort it takes to try to fit into a new environment" but after two weeks or so, I found out that she was right. She had also helped me whenever I had trouble understanding something and had supported me throughout the whole year. For the four years I attended that elementary school, I had different teachers every year but each one of them had supported me and I felt like they really understood me. I was able to enjoy my school life there.
After moving back to the states, my english level was low compared to other students in my school. I was imediately put into an ESL class. ESL stands for "English as a Second Language". At first, I didn't like the idea how I had to leave the classroom and couldn't learn with the rest of my classmates. Soon, however, I found myself enjoying ESL class, thanks to Ms.L. Before each lesson, she would tell me about her story as an ESL teacher. She has taught many students with different backgrounds and she said she had learned a lot from those students. She said she likes being an ESL teacher and she would tell me about what she had learned from her students. Listening to her stories made me feel special in a very good way:) I was also glad to know that I wasn't the only one who took this special program and that there were many others out there who's trying to improve their English like me.
Ok...Well I was only able to introduce two teachers out of so many others who have influnced me but I'm afraid I can't write them all down. To conclude, I am very glad to have met all the teachers who have taught, helped, and supported me.(Even though I had been a naughty student...)THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! <3

My New Life in KGU☆
Well...its only been about 2 weeks since I started Univeristy but Im already enjoying my life here :) yeaaaayyyyy♪
When I first came to Kangaku, I wasn't nervous or anything and was more likely excited:) I was really looking forward into starting a new life and enjoy my life here. Although I knew that everything was going to be new and that I'll be facing many difficulties for the next 4years, I couldn't wait to start my uni. life:) My impressions of college in general was that I'll be learning and studying more about what I need to know in the future and will eventually find out what kind of jobs which I'm capable of. I didn't really have much in mind about anything else besides the academic stuff...
So when I first came to Kangaku, I was really surprised of how big the campus was and I wasn't expecting so many people. What worried me the most at that time was that I'd get lost and be late to every class period...but luckily, all the classes/courses I took this term, is mostly held in the same building so I don't have to worry about getting lost:)
I've also made new friends and what surprised me the most was that most people turned out to be returnees from abroad and I find many people who has something in common with me:) Even surprising, I've found people that I've met before like when I was in elementary school or found some one who knew one of my friends. It's very exciting meeting new people every day:)
I feel like I will be enjoying my uni life very well☆
I can't wait to make more new friends and learn more about something new:)
